But his stomach was not used to it and every time after a while of eating so many salads it made him sick to his stomach and he would throw up.

I asked him if he has noticed a difference in how he has felt since changing his diet that way. However, he said that it was not a huge change because it was not terribly different from before. He did say that it was difficult to maintain a diet of no meat when eating out because almost all the eateries in our college town are all about some kind of meat based staples. I realized I agreed with him when I went out for lunch yesterday and came upon mcdonalds and burger king. I did not want to eat at mcdonalds but I was tempted to stop for burger king’s quarter pound double cheese for a buck. See, I have always liked the whopper much better than any mcdonalds sandwich. But I resisted because I want to stay away from meat that comes from the terrible meat factories and I do not want to support such treatment of animals.

So after hearing my wife talk about all the chemicals and hormones and stuff they put into the cattle, I really do not want to be eating any hamburger at all. I especially want to avoid the fast food places that sell burgers for so cheaply which is the primary factor behind the terrible treatment of the animals.
