Finally A Coffee Alternative That Actually Works!

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

I’m sure you’ve seen the now famous old time photo on T shirts with the guy literally vibrating with the saying “Coffee; Is the Planet shaking or is it just me?”

Granted that’s humorous. But the reason it’s truly funny, is because it’s true. We only really think things are funny when we can relate to them in some way and for us to really relate well there must be some little bit of truth to it.

Did you know, when polled, most coffee drinkers said they would like to try a coffee alternative if one existed that actually worked and that didn’t taste like recycled motor oil (Ok, I added the motor oil bit, but you get the point).

You know, we all have our own personal reasons why we want to get off coffee and I respect that, however I have compiled a few just to illustrate a couple of the reasons why I no longer drink the stuff.

The top ten reasons you should find good coffee alternatives right now are
1. You haven’t blinked since the last lunar eclipse.

2. You get a speeding ticket even when you’re parked.

3. The nurse needs a scientific calculator to take your pulse.

4. You sleep with your eyes open.

5. The only time you’re standing still is during an earthquake.

6. Your eyes stay open when you sneeze.

7. You chew on other people’s fingernails.

8. You’re so jittery that people use your hands to blend their margaritas.

9. Your only source of nutrition comes from “Sweet & Low.”

10. Charles Manson thinks you need to calm down.

We all know we really want to get off this addictive roller coaster we call Java but what are the coffee alternatives out there? Is there really a coffee alternative that works?

Well, yes there is, it’s a South American herb called Yerba Mate that the natives of the regions of Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil have been drinking for Centuries.

It has the power to Invigorate the mind and energize the body without giving you the jitters the shakes or the dreaded Crash! And It can do all this while supplying you with one of the world’s most potent antioxidants to help keep you healthy and well.

There are two problems however:
1. Yerba Mate all by itself will not amount to much of a mainstream coffee alternative without the help of some other herbs like Catuaba and Pata De Vaca. These serve to turbo charge it and really give you that ultra crisp sharpness that a North American connoisseur demands.

2. It has to still be Green and Unroasted or most of the nutritional and antioxidant benefits are destroyed. It must also be Organically grown because some of the pesticides they use in those countries have long since been completely banned from use in the USA. And of course if it’s Organic they aren’t using any sprays at all.
So, does a viable alternative to coffee really exist.

Sure it does and I drink it every day.

You Just have to find a blend of the herbs Yerba Mate, Catuaba and Pata De Vaca. As soon as you find your perfect combination of these herbs your search for a viable coffee alternative that works will be over. And you will be a happy camper who doesn’t have the jitters and no longer crashes just like me.

How Your Food And Drink Affects Your Health And Fitness

Medical Professionals and mothers all over the country have been telling us for centuries that ?we are what we eat?. Roughly translated this saying means that every part of our body (and potentially mind) is affected in some way by the things that we put in our mouth. It has got to stage now where you move for being told what you can and can’t put in your mouth. It sometimes all gets a little much to take in however, so here are 3 of substances that have the biggest impact on our bodies.

Salt. For a long time, people didn’t even know about the harm that salt can do to the body. An agency called the FSA in the UK suggest that 6g of salt is the maximum that anyone should need in a day. More salt might be needed by people who lose a lot through sweating or by diluted body salt levels by drinking lots of water. For 90% of people however, a reduction in salt levels is advisable as it has been closely linked with heart, blood and liver problems. Rather than put it in your body, salt is good at conditioning skin and is in fact an ingredient in lots of Skin care products

Fats. There are types of fat that are vital to the functioning of our body, including maintain organs, skin and vision. They are generally unsaturated fats that we need and not the type that most people get far too much of, which are saturated fats (AKA trans fats). In basic terms, you will not only become overweight if your saturated fat intake is too high, but you’ll be putting yourself at risk of getting blood pressure and heart problems, joint problems and many more. It won?t matter how many times you have a body polish, your appearance and health will not be great if you don?t watch your fats

Water. Your don’t actually eat water of course but that doesn’t make it any less important to your health and appearance. Although many experts suggest you drink 2lts a day, it really depends on myriad factors such as age, location, activeness etc.Water is not only very important for internal processes of the body, but additionally it has a large influence on external appearances, so if your a big water drinker you wont need to have exfoliating scrub quite so often
